I have a ingenico Card Reader Pad, and I want to use it as an Input device to read user Pin Number Changes. Any Ideas on best approach?
I am not looking to connect to some POS System, I am only looking to use the device as an Input device for a self made system.

Your question is a bit out of the ordinary regarding the focus of this forum.
Regarding hardware interfaces in general, get your hands on the manual and start reading about the protocol.
Is this a payment terminal? In that case expect some security layers and codes for you to connect. These are secured for some reason :-)
You can always connect to a reseller or manufacturers with question about their products.
Normally sales support is very generous regarding hardware providers.

This is for a Financial Institution creating an interface for a Card Reader and its Pin Pad to help the Card owner manage the Pin a they would have to use at a ATM etc.... I have requests out to the manufacturer as mentioned. I was hoping someone already went down this path. Maybe so, but it sounds like the Forum here is maybe not the right place for the topic. Thank again.
