    Hi @Supreet Kaur Mann

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum and for clearly outlining your concern.

Based on the details you shared that you are unable to join your college meetings on your Mac, and when you select the meeting link you receive a message indicating it cannot be found. I truly appreciate you taking the time to explain the behavior you are seeing, as it helps me narrow down the most effective next steps.

This can occur when the meeting link is opened while signed into a different Microsoft account than the one your college uses, or when saved browser sign-in data redirects the link to the wrong environment. Additionally, if the invitation was updated or the link was copied incompletely, the original URL may no longer point to the active meeting.

Below are some alternative steps designed to address your situation effectively:

1/ Confirm you’re signed in with the correct college account

    • Open Microsoft Teams on your Mac and check the profile icon in the top-right to confirm the signed-in account matches your college email.
    • If you have multiple accounts, sign out and sign back in using only the college account, then try the meeting link again.
    • If the meeting is hosted by your college, joining with a personal Microsoft account can trigger the “can’t find this” message.

2/ Open the meeting link in a private browser session and choose the correct join method

    • Copy the meeting link from the invitation and paste it into Safari or Chrome in a Private/Incognito window.
    • When prompted, select Open Microsoft Teams (desktop app). If that fails, select Continue on this browser to test browser-based joining.
    • This avoids saved cookies or cached sessions that may be pointing to a different organization.

3/ Refresh Teams and macOS link handling

    • Quit Teams completely (Teams menu > Quit Microsoft Teams), then reopen it.
    • Update Teams to the latest version (Teams menu > Check for updates) and install any pending macOS updates.
    • If the link always opens the wrong place, reinstall Teams and then retry the link, which re-registers the meeting-link association on macOS.

4/ Join from Teams directly or request a fresh invite link

    • In Teams, go to Calendar and check whether the meeting appears there; if it does, click Join from the calendar entry instead of using the email link.
    • If it does not appear, ask the organizer to forward the latest invitation or re-send the meeting (especially if it was edited), then try the newly received link.
    • If your college uses meeting IDs, you can also try joining by Meeting ID and Passcode (if provided) to bypass a problematic URL.

    5/ Contact IT administrator:

Since your account is managed by your school, please contact your IT administrator to review your permissions and policies. If the issue persists after these checks, ask your IT administrator to submit a support request directly to Microsoft Support team.

If you're unable to join meetings on your Mac and receiving a message that the meeting cannot be found, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check the Meeting Link: Ensure that the meeting link you are using is correct and not expired.
    2. Use the Correct Teams App Version: Make sure you are using the work version of Microsoft Teams. If you have both personal and work accounts, using the wrong version may prevent meetings from loading properly.
    3. Clear Teams Cache: Clearing the cache can resolve issues with loading meetings. You can do this by quitting Teams, then using the Terminal to delete specific cache files.
    4. Try a Different Browser or Incognito Mode: If you are accessing the meeting link through a browser, try using a different browser or open the link in an incognito/private browsing session.
    5. Check External Meeting Permissions: If the issue persists, the meeting organizer may need to confirm that the meeting allows external participants and that the link is not restricted to their organization’s domain.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to your college's IT support for further assistance.
