Good morning. I’m hoping someone can help because my new Surface Pro 11 has been having persistent issues that I can’t resolve.
Every couple of days, when I wake the device from sleep, it takes a long time to respond. When it finally wakes, the battery icon is missing. In Device Manager the battery shows a Code 45 and reports that it is not connected to the device. If I restart the Surface, the battery reappears and everything works normally again.
I have already tried the following steps:
• Ran the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit. It flagged the drivers section and reported a Surface Integration error code 10.
• Checked Windows Update. There are no pending updates.
• Tried updating drivers through Device Manager. It reports that everything is up to date.
• Performed the usual resets and troubleshooting steps recommended online.
The issue keeps returning, and it is happening often enough that it is affecting my workflow. I purchased the device from the Microsoft Store online late last year, and it has had ongoing problems since then.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Surface Pro 11, or found a reliable fix for the Code 45 and Surface Integration error 10? I would appreciate any guidance on this.
Thanks,
Laurie
