The UNIQUE() function most definitely is supported as explained by Hani-Ng but it is an array function. Are you entering the it by pressing Command+return?

If that isn't the problem please explain in detail why you believe it isn't supported. Provide specific examples.

    Hi 子恒 张

Although your Excel application is up to date, the UNIQUE function actually depends on your Office license type, rather than the app version.

As noted in the official UNIQUE function - Microsoft Support, this feature is only available for Microsoft 365 subscribers and users with Office 2021 or 2024. It is not supported on older, one-time purchase licenses like Office 2019.

You can check your current license by opening Excel and clicking Excel > About Microsoft Excel in the top menu bar.

If you are using Office 2019, you can save your file to OneDrive and open it in Excel for the Web. The web version is free and fully supports the UNIQUE function.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have further question!
