What exactly happens when you click Save contacts, does it say something went wrong?
Is it possible to attach a screenshot of the error?

I can not save new contacts in Outlook. It was ok yesterday. what do I do to fix this.

Hornblower409 8,200 Reputation points2026-04-17T15:57:16.52+00:00 Are you using the New Outlook for Windows App? If so, this is a known bug. I have the same problem as do many other people.
Try using Outlook Web.
- Open a browser to https://outlook.live.com/
- Logon to your outlook.com email account
- Just like in New Outlook for Windows. Open the People App
- Select the Contact, Edit and Save or Create a new Contact and Save.
Any changes you make in Outlook Web will (eventually) sync to New Outlook for Windows.
