A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Thank you for sharing your concerns.
Based on my research, Trusted Add-in Catalogs is a security feature available only in Microsoft Excel on Windows. It allows users or administrators to add trusted catalog URLs so that custom web add-ins can load safely and appear in Excel. However, this feature is not available in Excel for Mac. Due to Apple’s strict sandboxing and security model on macOS, Excel for Mac does not support the full Trust Center (including Trusted Add-in Catalogs). Therefore, you cannot update or manage a trusted add-in catalog directly on your MacBook.
