A fully managed platform in Microsoft Foundry for hosting, scaling, and securing AI agents built with any supported framework or model
Hosted Agent (Foundry) container fails to start (ActivationFailed/Waiting) and all invoke/session calls return 500
We have an Azure AI Foundry hosted agent in East US 2 that never becomes healthy. Agent versions cycle through Waiting / Activating / Unhealthy / ActivationFailed, and direct version-specific invoke returns HTTP 500. We already corrected protocol to responses / 1.0.0, rebuilt and pushed fresh images, tested multiple versions, tested a different model deployment, and explicitly injected required env vars. None of those changed the failure mode. This increasingly looks like managed platform/container activation failure rather than app logic. Is there any customer-visible way to inspect hosted-agent activation logs, or is this strictly a Microsoft support case for backend investigation?
