Pop Ups In Edge

All of a sudden, I'm getting a lot of pop-up ads. All of the Co-Pilot suggestions didn't work (mostly because CoPilot was asking me to do click on items that do not exist). How do I turn on the pop-up blocker?

To turn on (or confirm) the pop-up blocker in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Select Settings and more (the three dots in the upper-right corner).
    3. Select Settings.
    4. Go to Privacy, search, and services.
    5. Select Site permissions > All permissions.
    6. Select Pop-ups and redirects.
    7. Turn on the toggle for Blocked (recommended).

If pop-ups still appear after this is enabled, also check for unwanted website notifications (these are different from pop-ups):

    1. In Edge, select Settings and more > Settings.
    2. Go to Privacy, search, and services > Site permissions > All sites.
    3. Select any suspicious site, find Notifications, and set it to Block.
