Good day Rosie Vernetti!
From what you described, the “Legal (8.5 × 14)” paper size is missing from Excel’s Print settings. You can try adding it back manually by the following steps:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
- Scroll and select Print server properties
- Open the Forms tab
- Check if “Legal (8.5 x 14)” is listed
- If it’s missing, create it:
- Name: Legal
- Width: 8.5 in
- Height: 14 in
- Click Save Form / Apply. Then close and reopen Excel and check the Print settings again.
Additional method: You could also check whether the paper size is disabled in the printer’s device settings:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
- Select your printer > Printer properties
- Open the Device Settings tab
- Look for Form-to-Tray Assignment (or similar)
- Make sure one tray is set to Legal (8.5 × 14)
- Then reopen Excel and check the Print settings again.
This helps in cases where Legal exists in Windows but isn’t exposed because no tray is assigned to support that paper size.
Hope this could help. Please let me know if you need further support!
