    Hi Mckroy Angweye,

I understand how frustrating it is when your Bluetooth device shows as connected but no audio works, especially when even the troubleshooter gives confusing results like “not plugged in.”

Please help confirm these before we go deeper:

    1. Are you using a personal device/account, not a work/school-managed PC?
    2. Is the issue happening on all audio devices or only Bluetooth?
      • For example, do wired headphones or your laptop speakers also have no sound?
    3. When you go to “Device Manager” > “Sound, video and game controllers”:
      • Do you see your audio device listed normally, or is there a warning icon / missing device?
    4. When you click the sound icon on the taskbar:
      • Does the Bluetooth device appear in the output list?
      • If yes, does the volume bar move when you play audio?
    5. About the mouse issue:
      • Is your mouse Bluetooth or USB wireless? (This helps check if it’s a Bluetooth stack/system issue affecting both.)

In the meantime, please try the following:

    1, Restart Windows Audio services

    1. Press Win + R, type services.msc
    2. Find “Windows Audio”
    3. Right‑click > “Restart”
    4. Do the same for “Windows Audio Endpoint Builder”

2, Force Windows to re-detect audio output

    1. Go to “Settings” > “System” > “Sound”
    2. Scroll down > click “More sound settings”
    3. In the “Playback” tab:
      • Right‑click empty space > enable “Show Disabled Devices”
      • If your Bluetooth device appears disabled > right‑click > “Enable”
