I'm wanting to place a button on our website which says "Translate this website" - and it automatically loads up the Google Translate Webapp for the user to select the chosen language whilst the website is in view. I've successfully done this, however, you have to specify a language in order for this to work, but, if the user clicks the button and then chooses a new language, when they navigate away from the original page, Google Translate, translates the new page back to the previous language, so doesn't retain the new choice and I imagine it's because the parameters are set in the URL.
Is it possible for either:
Thank you!

Hi there, Thanks for posting here in Microsoft Community. No, Google Translate cannot do what you want. You must choose a language in the Google Translate link, but if the user changes it, Google does not remember the new choice on other pages and you cannot control Google’s cookies, so the best option is to use Microsoft Edge’s built‑in translator because it keeps the language the user selects across pages.
