I have a driver error on my camera where it seems to not be able to use or start the camera properly. I tried with other webcams and still have same issue so confirms that this is not a specific camera model driver problem, it seems like the problem is in my pc. I tried solutions from YouTube but seems does not working. I tried disable memory integrity, disable and uninstall and things on device manager, I tried to delete upper/lower filters which I couldn't find any. I tried running some scans and updates and restarts and still nothing helps. Any other solutions to this?User's imageUser's imageUser's image

    Hi!

Remove all drivers from all webcams. Disconnect all cameras and open Device Manager (Windows + X > Device Manager) > Under View, click "Show hidden devices" > Expand Cameras > Right-click > Uninstall all devices in this tab, including those that are grayed out (hidden) > Restart your computer > Insert the webcam and test it.

If the problem persists, try repairing it using Windows Update.

    1. Open Windows Settings by pressing WINDOWS + I > Select "System" from the Side Menu > Click on the "Recovery" option.
    2. Under "Fix problems using Windows Update", click on "Reinstall Now" > Wait for the entire procedure to be completed.

NOTE: This procedure may take some time depending on the computer specifications and number of files.

Code 39 means Windows cannot load the camera driver. Since multiple webcams fail, repair the generic Windows camera stack and force use of the in‑box UVC driver.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Completely remove the current camera driver
      1. Open Device Manager.
      2. Expand Cameras (or Imaging devices).
      3. Right‑click each problematic webcam entry and select Uninstall device.
      4. In the confirmation dialog, enable Delete the driver software for this device (if available), then select OK.
    2. Let Windows reinstall a clean driver
      1. In Device Manager, on the Action menu choose Scan for hardware changes.
      2. Wait for Windows to detect the webcam and reinstall drivers.
      3. Restart the PC and test the camera (for example with the Camera app).
    3. Manually switch to the in‑box UVC driver (USB Video Device) If Code 39 persists after the reinstall:
      1. In Device Manager, right‑click the webcam and select Update driver.
      2. Select Browse my computer for drivers.
      3. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
      4. Choose USB Video Device and select Next.
      5. Close the wizard, then restart the PC.
      6. Confirm in Device Manager that the webcam now appears under Cameras and test again.
    4. If the camera still shows Code 39 After the above, if the device continues to report Code 39, check the PC or webcam manufacturer’s support site and install their latest camera/webcam driver package. If that also fails, the issue is likely deeper in the OS image and may require repair or reset of Windows.
