| Unknown | 0 | The current or active mode is not known. This is not the off mode and has no supported-mode flag. Corresponds to Android MODE_UNKNOWN. |
| Off | 1 | The current or active mode is off. This is not the unknown mode. Corresponds to Android MODE_OFF. |
| Heat | 2 | The current or active mode is heating. Corresponds to Android MODE_HEAT. |
| Cool | 3 | The current or active mode is cooling. Corresponds to Android MODE_COOL. |
| HeatCool | 4 | The current or active mode is heat-cool mode. Corresponds to Android MODE_HEAT_COOL. |
| Eco | 5 | The current or active mode is eco mode. Corresponds to Android MODE_ECO. |
Remarks
These are individual mode codes, not flags. Do not combine them. Use TemperatureControlTemplateFlagMode for the supported-mode mask. Unknown is zero, while Off is a separate mode with value one.
