Important
Microsoft Search in Bing is retired as of March 31, 2025. Configuring Bing.com as the default home page to surface work search results is no longer required or supported. Users access Microsoft Search through M365.cloud.microsoft and SharePoint Online, and through the Microsoft Edge for Business address bar and the Windows search box. For more information, see Guidance for retiring Microsoft Search in Bing for your organization.
If you still want to set a default home page for the browsers in your organization for general browsing purposes, use the policies provided by your browser vendor:
- Microsoft Edge: Configure Edge using Microsoft Intune or Group Policy.
- Google Chrome: see the Chrome Enterprise policy list.
Internet Explorer is retired (June 2022) and is no longer supported. For details, see Internet Explorer 11 desktop app retirement FAQ.
