Summary

In this module, you learned how AI applications and agents can make sense of written text using natural language processing (NLP). You also learned how to implement text analysis capabilities in client applications.

You explored two methods to implement text analysis in Microsoft Foundry. One was with general-purpose AI models and another was with Azure Language in Foundry Tools. You also learned how to build a client application using either the OpenAI API or the Azure Language SDK. Finally, you learned how to connect an AI agent to the Azure Language MCP server so the agent could perform structured language tasks as part of an automated workflow.
