    Hi @Patel, Mayur,

Thank you for reaching out and describing the issue in detail.

From what you described, Microsoft Authenticator successfully sends the approval prompt, but when you return to the Teams mobile app, the verification page no longer appears, preventing you from completing sign‑in.

Please ask your administrator to follow the steps outlined in the guide below to revoke existing MFA sessions and require re registration.

Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication – Microsoft Entra ID. … This process usually only takes a couple of minutes.

Once the process is completed, all existing sign in sessions will be cleared. The next time you sign in, you will be prompted to set up Microsoft Authenticator again from the beginning, and verification codes should be delivered normally. If appropriate, you may also wish to ask your administrator to add an additional authentication method, such as SMS or email, to help ensure continued access in the future.

Please note that this is a user to user support forum, and I do not have access to administrative tools or permissions to reset or modify MFA settings on your account. Because your account is managed by your organization, only an authorized Microsoft 365 administrator can make these changes.

I hope this information helps guide you in the right direction and allows you to regain access to your account as quickly as possible.

The Teams sign-in flow on iOS relies on modern authentication and the Microsoft Authenticator (or another broker app). When switching between Teams and Authenticator, Teams may drop or hide the verification prompt if the sign-in window is dismissed or the app is restarted in the background.

To restore access and complete sign-in on the iPhone:

    1. Fully close and reopen Teams
      • From the iPhone app switcher, swipe up on Teams to close it completely.
      • Open Teams again and tap the sign-in banner or account name so it restarts the sign-in flow.
      • When it redirects to Authenticator, approve the request there and wait for it to complete before switching back.
    2. Use the sign-in banner or notification
      • If Teams shows a banner asking to Sign in, tap it to re-authenticate.
      • If there is a Teams notification in iOS (for example, a prompt to sign in), tap it to reopen the sign-in window.
    3. Restart the sign-in sequence if the prompt disappears
      • If the number prompt or code entry screen disappears after returning from Authenticator, repeat the sign-in steps from the beginning in Teams so a fresh prompt is generated.
    4. Check for network or policy issues
      • Ensure the iPhone is on the network required by the organization (for example, connected to VPN if required).
      • Avoid switching Wi‑Fi/mobile networks during sign-in, as this can cause Teams to ask for re-authentication again.
    5. Keep Teams and Authenticator updated
      • Update both Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Authenticator to the latest versions from the App Store, then retry the sign-in.

If the authenticator app does not complete the login (for example, no prompt appears or it fails repeatedly), complete the login process fully in Authenticator or the primary Microsoft app on the device. If sign-in still cannot be completed, contact the organization’s IT admin so they can review and, if needed, reset authentication or MFA settings.

If the problem persists across attempts, the IT admin may need to check for account-related issues (such as network/location requirements, sign-in risk, or device compliance) that cause Teams to repeatedly challenge access.
