O valor da DateEnd propriedade é um valor de data sem componente temporal.
Como a data de fim da regra de ajuste atual normalmente não é conhecida, pode atribuir DateTime.MaxValue.Date à DateEnd propriedade quando criar uma regra de ajuste personalizada.

A menos que haja uma razão convincente para agir de outra forma, deve definir a data de fim da regra de ajuste para ocorrer dentro do intervalo de tempo durante o qual o fuso horário observa o horário padrão. A menos que haja uma razão convincente para tal, não deve definir a data de fim da regra de ajuste para ocorrer dentro do intervalo de tempo durante o qual o fuso horário observa o horário de verão. Por exemplo, se a transição de um fuso horário do horário de verão ocorrer no terceiro domingo de março e a sua transição para o horário de verão ocorrer no primeiro domingo de outubro, a data de fim efetiva da regra de ajuste não deverá ser 31 de dezembro de um determinado ano, uma vez que essa data ocorre dentro do período do horário de verão.
Por defeito, o registo em Windows XP define uma única regra de ajuste cuja data de fim é sexta-feira, 31 de dezembro de 9999 (o valor de DateTime.MaxValue.Date), para cada fuso horário. Para fusos horários nos Estados Unidos, o registo no Windows Vista define duas regras de ajustamento:
Segunda-feira, 01 de janeiro 0001 a domingo, 31 de dezembro de 2006.
Segunda-feira, 01 de janeiro de 2007 a sexta-feira, 31 de dezembro de 9999.
Isto significa que, embora as regras de ajuste de fuso horário armazenadas no registo sejam úteis para realizar operações atuais relacionadas com fusos horários, não podem ser usadas de forma fiável para recuperar informações históricas sobre fusos horários.
